RAQ. The islamist group (ISIS) just took over Quaragosh, the biggest Christian city in Iraq. Hundreds of men, women and children are being beheaded. The people are crying out for prayers to be made on their behalf concerning the ongoing atrocitiesurgent in their country.

SYRIA. The civil war is moving to a new level. Borders have closed making it virtually impossible to get out of the country. Pray for the mostly frail remaining Christian remnant who need to survive not only al-Qaeda but also massive aerial bombardment. Reports have emerged that IS is transporting large groups of Christian captives to strategic battlefield area and using them as human shields in their fight against Kurdish and Christian militias. UZBEKISTAN. “Pray for Christians who have been fined for meeting with other Christians. Ask the Lord to provide for all their needs—both spiritual and financial.” (Open Doors)
